Read Across America

Please have your child take a picture of their pet with their iPad for something special Mrs. Brown has planned to celebrate Read Across America and Dr. Seuss's birthday on March 2nd.

IREAD

The IREAD test will be the week of March 14th.  Look for more information to come home as the dates get closer.

Spring Pictures

Spring Pictures will be on Wednesday, March 9th.

Fundraiser Kick-Off

New Dates for ISTEP

Third grade will be testing on March 2, 3, 4, and 8.

ISTEP Test

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for February 23rd.  I will only be meeting with parents if there are any concerns at this time.  I will be sending home conference request forms this week.  Please let me know if you would like to meet with me if you do not receive a request form.  Thank you!

February 15 - NO SCHOOL

Tin Caps Reading Program

The Tin Caps Reading Programs is in full swing!  Congratulations to just about everyone in the class for making it to first base!

IREAD

The third grade will also be taking the IREAD test in addition to ISTEP.  This test will be administered the week of March 14th.  I will let you know the exact dates when we get closer.  Your child has also been preparing for this test!

ISTEP

The class has been working hard to prepare for the upcoming ISTEP test.  The first part of the ISTEP will be administered the week of February 29th.  Please try your best to have your child at school this week and to not schedule any doctor appointments if at all possible.  Thank you!

Chicago Trip

A letter went home with your child on Friday in regards to the Chicago trip.  The remaining cost for the trip is just $15.00 per person!! The payment is due by Thursday, March 24th.
