Spring Break

The last day of school is this Friday, March 20th.  School will resume April 6th.  Have a wonderful and safe Spring Break!

Chicago Field Trip

A letter went home last week with important information regarding the Chicago trip.   The final cost of the trip is due on Friday, March 20th.  Please let me know if you have any questions or if you need another copy of the letter.

Read Across America

We are celebrating Read Across America the week of March 16th.  Please let me know if you would be interested in volunteering to read a Dr. Seuss book to the class. Thanks!

Pennies for Patients

The school is collecting donations for "Pennies for Patients".  This is a great cause to raise money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

IREAD

All third graders will be taking the IREAD test.  We will likely be testing on March 12th or 13th.  I will let you know for sure when we are given the testing schedule.  We are preparing in class for this test which is all multiple choice and is paper and pencil.  Look for more information in the newsletter.

The class did an outstanding job of working hard and doing their personal best on the ISTEP test.

Cookie Fundraiser

The cookie fundraiser is due on March 16th.  Cookies will be delivered on April 7th.

Fun Friday

Great job to the students who completed all of their work for the week and demonstrated excellent behavior!  These students had a great time playing "Minute to Win It" games during Fun Friday!!
